HELP! I'm Having Major Vinyl Issues...

Hi ForzaPlanet,

OK, so I seem to have developed a bit of a problem. Friday night I took a Dodge Charger and created a new livery. Friday night it looked like this:





So,being happy with it I saved it to my design portfolio. Skipping ahead to earlier tonight, I bought another Charger to race race online with a couple of friends, and before we started I applied the design from my portfolio. As we were racing I noticed the design wasn't on the car for some reason. OK, a little odd - I knew it said it applied it, so I just finished the race and went to apply it after. Upon doing so, the game spat out a car looking like this:



Somewhat alarmed, I went to the decal menu and all the layers were in the bottom ticker in their proper places, but the design on the car had reverted back to pure white. So I went to reload the design, and it got even worse:





So, yeah, I have no idea what was up - it keeps loading funny patterns on the car and then reverting back to white whenever a new menu loads, ignoring the original design that's supposed to be there. After playing around with it a bit more and not getting any results, I switched to a different car and tried to apply a design that I had downloaded from somebody's storefront in the past. It turned out the same way:



Also, all designs I look at while browsing the storefront come up different than what is shown in the thumbnail - usually only the original base colour of the car loads. So I'm somewhat at a loss as to how to explain this - it is a bug? The title update? Something amiss on my hard drive?

Any help or insight you guys could provide would be very much appreciated! I've never seen this before - has this happened to anybody else?

Theres quite a few people that posted this problem on the fm.net forums aswell. Seems this title update has created a few new problems. Think a few said resetting the xbox a few times worked but not sure. But your not the only one at least

For what it's worth the green looks better, not much help I know.

Another thing I'm not sure if MS are keen on phone numbers. A friend of mine had a "How's my driving call xxxxxxx" sticker on his car. The phone number was the MS complaints department however.

Yeah, If I could be that good on the livery editor without technological intervention I'd be golden!

But thanks for the responses - it's good to know this it isn't just me. I'll have look at Forza.net and try the reposes you guys posted here.

OK, so after the Xbox sat all night I fired it up a little earlier today and everything seems to have reverted back to normal. Weird, but I'll accept it! Again, thanks to all who offered suggestions and advice! Hopefully the others got their issues resolved as well.

I think you just need to let the patch settle into the system. I noticed a lot more saving that usual when I first played after it applied, but now it's just the same as before.
