help in damper setting???

however I'm really confuse...

i know that in springs setup higher value means stiffer springs
but in damper setup, the guide of gt4 learn, higher value means stiffer damper,
but if i look under the screen where theres a helper info, it tells that higher the value more flexible damper will be so means softer...

which is the good answer???? higher value (stiff damper) or higher value (soft damper)

Damper values in the GT series are always higher = stiffer, its been that way since the original game and testing on all version of the game (which I am sad enough to admit I have done) back it up.

Higher damper rate = stiffer damper.
