Help just downloaded the Update

Hello I recentley decided to take GT5 online for the first time yesterday on loading the game it said please update so after 2 hours of doing the update and reinstalling I was finally ready after numorous notifications about new helmets and outfits and tracks that have been unlocked ect I went to the in game dealership to buy a car and all of a sudden now I can't. I was like WTF I'm at level 30 and it says no cars avalible at your current level and everytime I click on a dealership the GT5 logo appears and it takes me back to the menu? How can I solve this issue
 
That sounds like your Game Data has been corrupted. The only way to fix this is to delete the Game Data. Then install the game first and then do the updates.
 
delete game data, not save game data!! just a reminder..

Yep, delete the GT5 game data in the game data utility folder and then start the game. Do not delete your savefile in the saved data utility folder.
 
Something similar happened to me a long time back.
 
It worked like a charm thanks for that the only problem is when I use my Veyron it now has no engine noise lol
