Hey guys, I'm sorta new to GTP..and have been playing GT5 for a while now..

I'm curious to know whats with the 0/0/0 cars I see in the Market?..Why do people want all these cars?

Same goes for Paint..(BTW: I just found out today, when you use that paint, you lose it -.- so emo about that. LOL)

Also, these birthday tickets, level tickets..you can get different level cars and such from these?

A quick search would bring you the information that you seek, but I'll give you a quick update:

1. 0/0/0 refers to a car that has 0 switches, 0 miles, and 0 wins, menaing it's never been used for anything except as a dust collector in a person's garage. They come from the New Car Dealer or a ticket or the OCD or a special DLC, etc.

2. Yes, you lose a paint chip once you use it. However, there is a workaround for this using a second account on your PS3. Backup your save game to a USB stick, then paint the car and send it to your other account. Restore save and you still have the car and the chip. The next day, send the painted car back to your main account. ;)

3. There is a sticky thread at the top that shows which cars come from which tickets. Using a USB stick to backup your game save, you can grind a ticket multiple times to get a specific car that you are looking for, by restoring the game save everytime that you don't get the car that you were looking for. ;)

I don't know why people like 0/0/0 cars, I personally like a car with history..
 
I think 0/0/0 are popular as it is still untouched. The collector/trader likes these as they have no modifications guaranteed.
