Need help with tuning/settings for Nascar Series. My car seems virtually undriveable in the Central valley and Laguna Seca races. Way oversteers on Acceleration and when going slow the understeer is huge. I'm not very good with setting up the suspension/wheel settings and the LSD settings. Any help is appreciated.

Sounds very strange. Mine handled just fine during those races. Have you tried to reset all tuning options?

Theres a few small things to change, but the most important thing is to max out downforce and set the transmission to 300 kph//180 mph. It should be easy to win with that.

Make sure ABS is on, about 4 or 5 should do the trick. Makes the world of difference on the circuit NASCAR events imo. But don't forget to turn it off before the ovals!

still having problems with getting around the hairpins. The car is much more buttoned down, but the turn radius is killing me, can't seem to get around tight corners without ending up on the grass going into the tunnel on Grand Valley race

Set the front camber to 2.2. Maybe you don't brake on time, remeber the car is a massive 1800kg ride going at 300kmh, needs early braking.

Hey,

Try the following settings, (got them off another thread, not mine!)

remember to change the oil to get an HP edge over the opponents.

Race 1: Superspeedway
downforce 35/50
gears: 380 km/h
lsd: 60/60/15
ride height: 15/-15
springs: 18.5/18.5
dampers front: 8/4
dampers rear: 8/4
anti roll bars: 4/4
camber: 2.0/1.0
toe: default
brakes: 1/0

Race 2: Grand Valley
downforce 50/70
gears: 320 km/h
lsd: 60/60/15
ride height: -30/-30
springs: 18.5/18.5
dampers front: 8/4
dampers rear: 8/4
anti roll bars: 4/4
camber: 2.0/1.0
toe: default
brakes: 1/0

Hardest race for me as getting in front was difficult and rear tyres started to lose grip quite fast due to oversteer. High downforce was useful and made overtaking easier. Try to get to 1st place as soon as possible and then maintain pace around middle bar to avoid wheelspin in the corners.

Race 3: High Speed Ring
downforce 50/70
gears: 350 km/h
lsd: 60/60/15
ride height: -30/-30
springs: 18.5/18.5
dampers front: 8/4
dampers rear: 8/4
anti roll bars: 4/4
camber: 2.0/1.0
toe: default
brakes: 1/0

Race 4: Laguna Seca
downforce 50/70
gears: 280 km/h
lsd: 60/60/15
ride height: -30/-30
springs: 18.5/18.5
dampers front: 8/4
dampers rear: 8/4
anti roll bars: 4/4
camber: 2.0/1.0
toe: default
brakes: 1/0

Keys here are short gearing and high downforce... the race becomes smooth sailing after you get in front, just remember to keep some pace up

Race 5: Daytona Oval
downforce 35/50
gears: 380 km/h
lsd: 60/60/15
ride height: 15/-15
springs: 18.5/18.5
dampers front: 8/4
dampers rear: 8/4
anti roll bars: 4/4
camber: 2.0/1.0
toe: default
brakes: 1/0

I hope these help, because they allowed me to win all the races bar Daytona, which is quite frankly crazy because they just spin you off lol.

i saw something on another thread when i got this point. the suspension was fine for that tune. the tran s said to set to top speed. that was for daytona or someother super speedway. The next race was Grand Valley. I forgot to change my gear ratio. so i was racing on a road course in a nascar geared for 298mph. just dont do what i did.
