Help need a better resolution

So i did a quick search to see how you can set GT4 to 1040i and for some reason the screen turns black and then goes back to normal mode.

Im running a sony bravia do i need an S-video cable to run 1040?

The game looks like complete **** w/o a better resolution please help

That'll be 1080i.

1. Buy a COMPONENT video cable.
2. Plug component video cable into PS2 and TV.
3. Go into PS2 browser and change output to YPbPCr. Save.
4. Load GT4. Set in 1080i mode.
5. Cut out the swearing.
