Hey guys, please help, posted this in General section too. When I start racing everything is fine, but about 2-3 minutes later the throttle drops to half no matter it is floored or not. Restarting the CSR Elite solves it, but a couple minutes later it drops again. I have no idea if it's related to the wheel or the game.

Do you have a clutch pedal? You could try swapping the little connectors on the small motherboard underneath the pedals and see if the problem continues when using the clutch pedal as the gas. That would help to eliminate if the gas pedal is bad.

Or if the issue continues when using the clutch pedal as the gas, (a good thing to check anyway) make sure the serial connector from the wheel to the pedals is secure, mine slips from time to time and have to re-plug it in.

Someone also suggested that it might simply be pre-game calibration: pushing the pedals all the way before starting the game, which I forgot to do. Haven't had chance to go through, but will update as soon as I do.

Thank you for the reply, Jerome!

PC or Xbox360?

I recall various issues if you use a wheel to turn on the Xbox. Procedure is always to turn on the Xbox first, then turn on the wheel once the Xbox has fully started.

Good question @skazz, knowing what system it's plugged into can help. I don't use my CSR-E setup on PC that much, but I've never had to prep the brakes beforehand.

Well it is GTPlanet, but there's so many drivers who play other games, it isn't always about GT

I realized that right after I replied and rushed back to edit my post. You're fast though :)

Just updating in case someone else encounters the same problem. It was the potentiometer: I replaced it and everything is fine now.
