Help on brake drifting

I keep trying to brake drift but it's not working I I watched the drift bible and studied how but when I keep trying to do it the weight doesn't shift to the front the car slows down and doesn't drift even thought I brake and shift down and ride the brakes when I'm turning. Can you guys give me some tips so I can learn this technique because I seriously need help?
 
Might be obvious but have you made sure your assists are turned fully off ? Has the car got enough power ? The MX-5 with a bit of NA tuning and the opera performance S2000 got me started in getting a feel for drifting. LSD can also influence the way the car behaves when it comes to oversteer.
