I cannot beat these two races no matter how hard I try. I have silver on the first one and can't do better than 7th on the second one. I am using the Toyota 7 race car and my driver is at level 28. Please help as I want the Alfa prize car from this! Any tips or even a link to a thread with help is what I need.

There is a setup for the 7 that makes a huge difference, I googled it.

thanks, I googled "Toyota 7 race car setup" and came up with this:

Weird setup for my Toyota 7 Race Car but it worked on B-Spec and 2 more times right after to make sure. But it works well. after bb takes first you need to let him cool down and keep him near the middle of the stress bar. Should be gravy! Goodluck

Downforce: F:60 R:85
Turbo: Mid RPM Range Turbo Kit (Stage 2)
LSD: IT=30 , AS= 55 , BS=30
Transmission: 224mph top speed
Suspension:
Ride height= -30/-30
Spring Rate= 20/20
Dampers ext and comp both= 10/10/
Anti Roll Bars= 7/7
Camber: F= 7.0, R= 0.0
Toe: F= -0.10 / R= 0.15
Brakes: F=9 / R=8

I'll give it a try

I finally gold'd these today.
Used Lamborghini Countach fr Monaco and won fairly easily and used chap 2d for other with stage 2 turbo and low top speed of about 170mph and won by 3 or so seconds.

Dunno why but it'd been a pain to do before and I'd left it. Today seemed really easy for some reason

i cant beat the historic b spec my bob is at level 18 and im using a 638hp ferrari 330p what did everybody use to beat this race? If anybody beat it with the ferrari can you give me a setup thanks.

1970 Toyota racecar - it's just a huge engine on wheels with a big spoiler on top. 👍

lol ya i know i cant get one and that's what keeps on beating me

Check the thread that details what the prize cars are in the game, you win this car as a prize somewhere.

Thread is a main sticky thread on one of the menu's.

I can't remember what level or where the race is though, sorry.

you win it in B-spec like the wind if im not mistaken. i used the 69 Corvette heavily modified to win monaco then i borrowed a Toyota 7 from a friend for the Deep Forest race. now B-spec historic, its a joke.

I won both the A & B-Spec Historic races with the '66 Jag XJ13(?) Race Car. Spec it up to max, including weight loss etc. Put maximum down force and lengthen the top speed transmission a bit. Softest tyres possible.

In B-Spec don't push too hard, especially on the twisty bits. If there's a straight road ahead lash on, but otherwise just hold your horses a bit. My Bob was level 17.

The Toyota 7 will cream anything in the Forest with Max power and downforce, as will the Jag XJ13 at Monaco. My Bob was in around level 30 by the time I got the Jag and did it first try after trying the Toyota, Lambo and GT40 all maxed about 20 times each, he kept hitting the lefthand railing at the chicane after the tunnel.

The Forest was a bit easier, neither I nor Bob could do it until we got the Toyota then both golded first time. I got gold in Monaco with the GT40 after hours of trying the Lambo.

I may have been able to do them with the Lambo if I wasn't using the controller, D-pad at that, I just can't get to grips with games using the analogue stick yet, except FPS. I'm in the market for a wheel and rig, but i'm both waiting for an ISR review of the T500 wheel and feedback from OpenWheeler about their claim that the shifter attachment is compatable with the Fanatecs as I can't see how it is incase I don't think the T500 is worth the extra £150.

Thanks guys, I figured it out. For some reason I thought hard racing tires were the limit, switched to medium and won with ease.
