Hello, everyone. Well I'm very interested in become an automotive engineer, and I've been trying to find some more information about this job, without much success. :grumpy: I need to know what type of education is needed to become one, here in Canada. I also need to know a good institution where they train you for an automotive engineer, In Ontario.

Well, seeing how I am interested in the same career field, you might want to look at the automotive engineering programs available at the University of Windsor and the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. Otherwise, a degree in mechanical engineering (available at most Canadian universities) is your best bet.

What is the website for those universities?, uh never mind found it, but thank you for the information, but now I have one more question, where is the University of Ontario Institute of Technology located? Also, what is the phone number?

Hmm, looks like a did a sucky job at trying to find stuff on the site, thanks for the tip sage.

Wait until you take careers, your teacher will be a great asset to you. They gave me a yellow sheet of front and back courses for this stuff.

Who cares about how to measure the displacement of a rotary? As long as you never need to work with an RX-7 or RX-8, you're perfectly fine.

But the fact your teacher didn't know what an intercooler was gave me a good laugh!
