Help Please - Lost Game Save Data

Fired up GT5 yesterday and as it began loading I noticed things were amiss. As the opening video played I realised that things were badly wrong (I had disabled the function a while back). Fears confirmed as the game loaded and I realised for sure that I had somehow lost my saved game.

I was level 38 A Spec with just under 400 cars including the Sauber Merc, RB1, Miura, FF1, a lovely chrome Jag XJ, every Lambo, most touring cars / JGTC, etc etc.

I am now level 0 with no cars and 20,000 in credits.

The game still has all of my trophy records and the log (which states that I started a new game) so there is obviously some residual data. The rest of my saved games (other games) are all fine.

Is there anything I can do....................?

Make sure you back up to a USB stick next time.

There's about a billion threads on the same matter with this advice given to all of the people who have suffered the same as you. ;)
 
Thought it might be the case. Not sure if there will be a next time now. Maybe i'll come back to it in a few weeks. Gutted.

If it helps you can get to lvl 26 just using the nascar seasonal. And it provides the car.
 
Without any save you might be up the creek :), I accidentally deleted the save on my "B" account a couple of weeks ago (about 250 cars) trying to do the paint dup. I have raced my way back to where I was now, good luck.
