Im not sure if this is in the right forum section or not, but i have some questions. Could I get some brainstorming ideas for some events for a gt5 racing league. No racecars and im looking at a 12-20 race series, with each event being unique. Thanks!

-Wagons/Sedans/Convertibles only?
-Set a specific weight/power variable?
-Cars that have been in films?
-Cars that cost more than 500,000 new?
-Only cars with a Z in the name?

anything it doesnt matter! Except im trying to steer away from racecars like supergt's and stuff

Cars that, if you bought them in real life, would have broken down before you got to the track.

You'll have a field of Alfas, TVRs and DeLoreans.

Hahaha! 👍

List all the possibles then cross off the ones that are currently running.
My suggestions to get you started on your list.
1. British league. British road cars 500pp
2. Lightweight european. Any euro car less than 900kg.
3. Classic race cars. Pre 1970.
4. World sporstcar championship. Race prepped supercars.
5. Ferrari F2010/07 championship.
6. Retro championship. Mini, beetle?
7. Cup cars. Micra, Lupo, Beetle, Golf (cup cars only)
8. 2.0L chamionship. any road car with a weight/hp limit.

Remember to test before you select the cars so the cars are similar to produce wheel to wheel racing
👍

Hypercars! McLaren F1, Bugatti Veyron, Saleen S7, Ferrari Enzo, Nissan R390, Pagani Zonda 7.3, TVR Cerbera Speed 12, Lamborghini Murcialago Superveloce!

Fast Tracks! Cape Ring (outer), Circuit de la Sarthe, Nurburgring Nordschlief, Monza, Daytona road, Indy, Laguna Seca, High Speed Ring, SSR7, TGTT, Fuji, Autumn Ring, Trial Mountain, Ect.

Look at the cars from the FIA 2010/2011 GT1 series. You'll find their production counterparts in the Premium car selection. Set the PP at 585 with sport soft or racing hard tires and require each car to have all the downforce mods. The cars race very close times and are fun to drive.

1. Everyone buys the same car from the OCD & you only have a fixed amount to spend on it. Races are all held at real world tracks.
2. Buy whatever car you like, to a set pp, the winner gets all the loser's cars gifted to him/her.
3. Everybody uses an FR car with sport soft on the front and comfort hard on the back, no driving aids.

You all go buy WRC cars and leave them stock, put comfort hards on them, go to the big patch of grass at Daytona, (comfort hards on grass is like driving on soap, or so I hear) turn damage to FULL and have a demolition derby! You're out if you lose a door, hatch or hood. Last one with their car fully intact is the winner!

How about a progressive series? 3 or 4 races of each type, start with Karts and go something like Cup cars>Roadsters>Sports Cars or Tourers and for the grand finale have an Historic race on the ring
