Alright, this is what you do. you either go to a store or online and order yourself an X-port. Once you recieve it you have to turn off your computer and you ps2. connect both of them and then turn on your computer. once you computer is turned on it will load the basic information that you need for the x-port. it will ask for the rest of the iformation from the cd. after wards you can turn on your PS2 and insert the X-port cd in it. bring up the x-port screen on your computer, choose memory card. load it up. back up your game save. go into the pc database and chose send. send it to what ever file you want and then open MK, once you have done that, chose read garage in the file drop down box. find the folder where your gt3 gamesave is in and then click open, then it will bring up your game save. After that go in and change the things you want on a certain car and then save it to that same, or make a new gamesave for this. Now you go back into X-port makeing sure you ps2 was turned off when you connected the x-port cables, you go into pc database and find chose import save from that folder. after that go into the memory card part and erase the previous game from your memory card. go back to pc data base and chose restore. Note: you can delete the old gamesave before you import the new one. If you have an action replay or gameshark. You up load a gamesave from the internet. putting it in that folder, and then go through the same process of reading the garage. now afterwards chose the car you want to work on or right click and change it to a different car, do everything you want to with it, right click, set code base, action replay and gameshark are listed just as gameshark, or if your using it, codebreaker. after you have that set, right click again and then chose list coded car and it will bring up gameshark/actionreplay or codebreaker codes neaded to modify the car. the smartest thing to do though is always have the Base, Body, and Type codes imputed first to makesure it works, then enter in the codes one at a time. if you need further information on how to work the MK program or anything else requiring the x-port, everybody here will be willing to help. also Famine has a "how to" guide in his sig that could help you with anything.
