HELP! Pointer is gone... :(

For some reason the pointer is gone. I can start the game but I can't enter any game mode. I get to the main page where you can choose for example arcade and more, but the pointer is gone... I can't choose anything. The control works perfekt and I have tried other games. It's only GT5... Please Help!!! Anyone else having the same problem at the moment???
 
This has happened to me before (twice) and I just started pressing whatever buttons and restarted the game. Also try turning off the controller and turning it on again.
 
For me, solving this issue made me have to sign off Playstation Network. I gained control afterwards.
 
I had this too a while back. I believe it's something to do with being connected to the internet or the psn. I thought it had been fixed as it's not happened to me for ages now but perhaps not

While the news is loading and GT5 is attempting to connect to the internet the cursor doesn't show up. Leave it 5 mins and if it still doesn't show up sign out of PSN and try again.
 
Is your mouse plug in? Just kidding. Like other said, 99.99% internet. Rule of thumb is to sign off PSN when playing off-line. Your game will load faster.

There are a lot of issues that come up due to PSN connectivity IMO. There is a lot of content that updates(dont' know from where) and seems to slow down the experience of GT5. Try this, it should help you big time. Good luck !
