HELP! race regulations bug

reached a strange problem that wont let me continue in the game,

when i use the cadillac cien, the honda HSC, the ford GT 02, or the Audi Nuvolri quattro (sp?) in completely STOCK form, untouched and unmodified, i go to use them in the supercar championship of the professional events section, and when the regulations and prize info screen comes up, the unmodified cars only flashes red, i go to click ok at the bottom and it tells me i have contradicted the regulations. how can this be, the cars ARENT modified.

the only car ive been able to start the race with is a stock '70 chevy cheville SS, which isnt good enough to win the races with. when i use that old car i realise that the other cars in the race happen to be the HSC, and Audi i won at 25%, but im not allowed to use them?!?

the only other regulation is that there over 368kw and apart from the HSC (which ive seen in the race anyway) they all are far more powerfull than 368kw in stock form.

the same problem happens when i try to enter the american unmodified car tornament.

what is wrong with my GT4? does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?? because without those races complete i cant do the GT world champ in professional and therefore cant unlock extreme events.

im stuck, confused, and not amused. please help!
 
I'm pretty sure that's because those cars are not production models. They are all either concepts or pre production models. Just a guess though.
 
He said the Ford GT '02 which was the Concept, you need the production version which can be bought at the dealership.
 
Mhhh...

I've got the reverse going on... I could enter races with a "unmodified" tag with tuned cars.

Seems "Unmodified" means street cars, no wings... <shrug>
 
i ran the supercar challenge with a modded '00 Zo6. I am sure it was supercar challenge in pro hall. I thought the reg for the race i ran were it just had to be a production car, which the cien hsc and '02 GT are not. Although you will race aginst these cars, you cannot drive one.
 
Yeah in the supercar challenge post I'm pretty sure it was determined that 'Unmodified' meant no race cars. Fully modded production cars are alowed.
 
Ok to clear up the rules on this,you do race agaiknst a couple of concept cars in this cup like the W12 and Cien however the rules are you must use a production car with over 500Bhp to enter, concepts arn't allowed. Modifications are allowed including rear wings for downforce, however you can't use tuner cars or race cars in this competition.
 
live4 is correct. to bad, cause i bought the CarbonR for this race, didnt work, so i used a horrible braking S7
