I finally got a replacement load cell for my clubsport pedals and need some info before I replace it. I can't seem to find a "how to" or anything at all about the replacement procedure. It seems to be fairly easy, but I want to make sure before I start.

It looks like there are two very small allen screws holding the load cell in place, can anyone tell me what size allen wrench fits these screws? The smallest I have is 2mm and it is too large.

It looks like I have to take the pedals apart to get to the inside allen screw. Is there anything I should be aware of before starting this?

Thanks for any help. :)

Thanks Caz, but that's the video from the Fantec website and it doesn't show anything about replacing the load cell.

If I just knew what size the allen screws are, the rest looks very easy. Info from Fanatec isn't very reliable, that's why I ask on here.

I replaced my load cell last Sunday; very easy (and my pedals are bolted down!).

I'll need to check the allen key size (will post back tonight when I get home from work) but I only unscrewed the right-hand side one (when facing your pedals) because of the limited accessability you already mentioned. Once that screw is loose I simply eased the load-cell out from the pedal & unplugged the cable. Refitting was just as easy...

You may need a pair of tweezers or small pliers for the tiny plug on the PCB, depends how big your fingers are! :) You'll probably also need a small flat-bladed screwdriver (or something similar) to push the spring-loaded piston out of the way when refitting the load-cell...

Thanks, that is very helpful. I'm hoping I won't have to take them apart to access the other allen screw, but it's not that big of a deal even if I have to do that.

I found out the allen screw is 1.5mm.

No problem 👍 Good luck with it all and I can confirm that it's a 1.5mm Allen key... :)

I can confirm all of the above. I have tried to fix mine and took it apart a few times (probably how I buggered it up). When I did it I found that when I took the connector off of the PCB the other small white piece came off too.

After looking online I think I found that the wires go towards the centre of the board and not the outside. Can someone confirm this before mine gets to me. I used a medium sized slot screw driver to move the foam thingy.
