Help!!! save game problem, after ps3 reinstall!

hey guys,

i made an backup of my savegame on a usb stick.
after that i reinstalled my ps3. (reason i had some sound problems after ylod repair.)
now re installed the game and want to reload my save game.

so far so good,

but when i start the game it now gives an error saying the save game belongs to another player.

i can't log on to psnetwork (would this fix the problem)???
or should i search somnewhere else?

should be alright if you sign in i guess...
 
I would try logging in (with the login that matches your save data of course) and then see if it loads. It's been my experience that the ps3 is pretty good about warning you before it removes any external save data. If you wanna take the extra step, you could always back up your memory stick on you PC
 
Yes, when you can log in PSN, you will be able to use your save data.
