HELP! Screen is shuttering!

Hey- Im on lap 59/90 on the 200 miles of LAguna Seca, and my screen is freezing about every 3rd of a second, and coming un frozen. Is this a serious problem? Should i turn off my ps3, to save its life? Or is it worth trying to let it cool so i dont lose progress?
 
Use the save option to save your progress, oh yeah right.

Seriously though, it doesn't sound good. How mush work is the fan doing? Is this a phat of slim? Try to keep her cool for a bit while paused to see if that helps. I hope you don't lose that work, that would suck.
 
sounds like your PS3 is overheating, get it to a cool place, put a fan on it...
 
If it's definitely not a loose connection then turn the PS3 off. Better to lose the race than the PS3.

As already mentioned make sure it's got lots of cool air to eat!
 
Back to this thread! I left it paused while i went to post,i came back and the fan had quieted down a bit. I have a slim, and its well ventilated. Its fine now... Thanks though!
