Guys need your help.
I'm playing a tournament with friends, the tournament is played with honda civic type r 08. The issue is that my friends for years playing with GT5 and I win at any track. I'm always 20 to 30 seconds less, and lose races for 2 laps.
I need someone to help me configure it to my car run better.
My friends can be better than me when they come into the corners but the straights or curves very open to me and I spend very strong I can never achieve.
I read the advice given when you set the GT5 but the issue is left to me worse than standart.
The tournament is limited to 390hp free preparation, media and racing tires
My problem is that the car tends to understeer.
I read a forum that the car has to have more than 200 miles to have the maximum HP? Is this true?

I appreciate any information or help!

Greetings!

PS: I Use google translate to write this :)

the civic R is already a pretty easy car to drive right out of the box. A bit of camber and toe helps, but not too much of it. It will hamper your straight line speed.

There is no replacement for a good driving line. your friends are probably better at corners because they have a better line. Once you get your driving line down, you can use aerodynamics, camber, toe and ballast to get the most out of your car while cornering. To understand how to configure these settings, try the tuning forum.

slow in-fast out, aim for the apex and throttle control/appropriate gear. keep an eye on these three. Very important factors for cornering.

I doubt you can completely get rid of the understeer. 390hp on a FF car = understeer central.

Try RKM's tune --> Link here. My Civic Type R set at 400PP with RKM's tune is my go-to car for the seasonal events. My Civic is only has a moderate amount of engine parts and is not equipped with a turbo therefore only outputting about 300hp when fully unrestricted. I've taken it on the Ring a few times and I'm still happy with its handling characters. Not sure how it'll pan out when fully modified but its worth a try.
