Help, Something Weird

i am running the game in 1080p and in the cockpit view i can only see the top of the steering wheel but while round my friends (also in 1080p) the view is much much better! its really weird could it be that i have the standard edition and he has the special?

He probably adjusted his multiscreen view.

Once the game is loaded, go into Forza 3, your profile and look for "multi screen". Turn it on and change the viewing angle, to get more of the cockpit on screen.

The lower settings will lose a bit of the sensation of speed and "get closer" to the action, while the higher settings will create more of a fish eye lens effect and "pull the camera back" a bit.

Haven't played for a while, but I think a setting of around 75 worked well.
