It happened last week and occasionally self-resumed and it make clutch shifting not possible. The Rev. indicator remained at about 800-900 even I fully applied brake. I tried to disconneted T500 & TH8RS and rebooted using controller only but it could not be fixed.

Anyone have this experience and solution? Or I need to reinstall it? If so, how and how can I save and reuse my game data?

Many thanks

EDIT: I found and thought it was TH8RS problem: it seemed lost H-shift data memory and jumped to sequential mode.(checked in control panel) It became normal after recalibration!:ouch:

EDIT II: I dismalted it and disconnected the Sequential Mode switch connector, then it worked fine for hours. I thought the switch might had intermittent contact problem.

It's normal. The engine normally ideal at certain rpm even while stopped. If it was at zero, then it would be like having your engine completely off. Other than that I can't help you.

Some cars in the game are programmed with Automatic transmissions, so you cannot manually disengage the clutch, sadly. I'd love to drive the GT-R with the stick but the GT-R so happens to be one of these cars.

I found it was not related to the Rev. as I tried again I saw that the Rev. was not zero when I shifted gear. Actually there should not be zero Rev. in real world when the engine is started.

I found that it might be the TH8RS problem. I tested it in control panel and it occasionally jumped to sequential mode. When I calibrated it then the symptom vanished.

Did the shifter become faulty?
