I'm trying to create a rough BOP for 60-70 road cars that I'm racing in Sophy. Since I'm trying to have a 20 car grid with all different tuned road cars, my target is 650pp. That seems to be where I can get some of the lower end cars to as some cant hit 700 even with every upgrade. Is there a good rule of thumb for when to use ballast vs power restrictor vs computer to lower pp?
Was driving the Shelby Mustang with a supercharger and was using the power restrictor and at the high end of the revs it seemed like it was getting clipped pretty hard requiring me to short shift. Assuming that is the power restrictor. Though I also have top speed adjust slighlty to 25 km/hr for every car so not sure if that is what is causing the clipping. Ideally im not short shifting so trying to see where that issue is coming from and also what the downsides are of using mostly ballast if I dont want to have the power clipped like that at higher revs.
