What an awsome game....this GT4 has me giddy....

I have been a PC racer for a long time when a friend turned me onto this PS2 game of games....I can't wait for the release.

I have been all over the FAQ's and looking to see if this game will be released into the PC world or not?

are there any programs out there that you can get to let you play PS2 games on PC....?

where are these tech questons answered....?

No. GT4 will not be realesed on PC. There is no emulator out for the ps2 besides one that play demo games and even they are dodgy.

The reson it wont be realesed on PC is because it is the game is licened to Sony (thought id say that just incase you asked).

As HsV CoUpE stated it is an exclusive title for the Sony console machines. The reason for this is to give a reason for gamers to buy a PS/ps2. This is done by many companies in the console market, Xbox has Halo, and Nintendo has Mario and so on. There are also the temp exclusives such as GTA where it comes to the PS2 long time before it comes to other gaming machines.

I recommend you get a ps2 if you want to play GT3, GT4 P, GT4 Prius trial and GT4. However you can stick to gt2/gt1 by getting an emulator for the pc or Xbox.

I have no problem buy a PS2....

I am looking forward to Ya'll teaching me a thing er 2....

I do have a high end PC wheel....do I need to get any adaptors to make it work with PS2.....?

Or am I SOL......?:banghead:
 
If it's the Momo FF tghen it wil probably work with GT4, it works with GT3. If not I'd recomend buying the new GT4 wheel which will work on PC and PS2.

For now yes, and thats mostly only for the Gran Turismo series as my pc is able to get alot of better graphics then my ps2.

Well, considering GT is the ultimate racing game, PS2 is all you need.:cool:
 
Ultimate in what way, try telling a pro GPL racer that.
 
Grand Prix Ledgends, fantastic game and IMO the most realistic gracer around.

Not to sound like a smart ass but,.......OK I will.

I am the former Producer of a Nationally Syndicated NASCAR show.After talking with almost every driver out there in the NASCAR circuit. I have been in those cars...driven those cars at high speed and it is my feeling as well as allot of the younger NASCAR drivers these games are so close to the real thing they are even blown away. Most of the younger drivers are big PC racers and do it on line with each other.I was lucky enough to race with Adam Petty(on-line) before he died and he was a huge fan of PC racing.We would talk about it when we would see each other at the track. I only saw the pictures, He bought a 20 in. monitor as well as brought home an old racing seat and set up a home version of a Daytona USA arcade game. And these guys would race on the off season....
