Help w/ class S Suzuka

Hello everyone - this is my 1st post.
I've cleared every event in class C, B, A and all except the last event in Class S - the 5 lap Suzuka. Best I've managed so far is 7 th place.
I'm running the Amuse, and tried different tunings. Doesn't really matter - you have to start so far back, it seems nearly impossible to place in this event. I'm turning in about 2 minute laps.
Any tips?

Well, after I posted the question I took the time to look thru the site and of course I found more than enough to try out for 1 evening. Well - you were beginners once, yourselves.

Hi Libre! Welcome to the planet!

I'm not a mod but been around long enough to see two things coming:

please do not double post, rather use the edit button.

And please use the search function before opening new threads, this specific topic has been discussed to quite some extent, you'll find plenty of help there.

That said I'll now see if I can find the thread(s) and I'll "edit" the link(s) in here in a minute.

My personal tip up front: go online and do free runs to find the right car, setup and finally pace. It's hard to believe but these events can be done... 👍

Edit: here you go! I'm not trying to prove a point here by giving you 6(!!!) threads in one go, I was surprised how much I found by just searching for s-class looking around in these threads (in memories) another thing popped to my mind: check the tuning threads, setup is key, besides being bloddy fast of course
