Help..Where are my gears?

Okay so I've scrolled through five pages in GT General and there are a few threads on page five with similar problems but with no solutions.

It all started when I was practicing on the Circuitto De La Sierra and the car just started to bog down for no reason and slowed to a halt. I tried a restart and all things went well for about two minutes and then it bogged out again. Dead. The car would continue to rev on demand but the gears were just gone and after that any restart that was from a standing start had zero engagement whatsoever. if the car was moving as from a flying start the car would slow and would sometimes show a little sign of life but no pick-up at all and would then balk at the first incline. :banghead: :confused:

I use a DS3 with very few miles on it so to speak. Any help to get this guy back on the road would surely be appreciated!...:bowdown: :gtpflag:

Check your controller connection and then if the connection are ok, restart GT6 and see if that problem that you are having still happens or try another DS3 and see what happens.
 
Thanks for the reply. I have another DS3 that I'll power up overnight. I don't know that it's the problem though. The X button engages my gears(automatic) as well as revs the engine. The X button works well for everything else in the game just not for my tranny...Weird.

But I'll give all that a go, so thank again @hall90..👍
 
Solution: Start using manual, set L2/R2 to gearup/geardown.

Problem solved.
 
It's a bug in the game. It happens to me and i have a g27. I think it was supposed to be fixed in the most recent update but I really can't remember. I don't think there was any clear cut solution on the user side.

Thanks for the input but I have carpal tunnel and I know that I wouldn't last an hour under those conditions. I forgot to power up my old DS3 and I'm doing that now so I will give that a go just to see if that's a fix though.

You say it happens to you? Do you mean then that it comes and goes for you because I'm not sure I have the patience to wait it out!. lol. We have new TTs tonight for cryin' out loud!...:scared:

pps- Good news, bad news. My old remote works which means my newer one is likely hooped. I'm hoping it just needs a rest and will be good to go if I just,just...just...:banghead: <--- :confused:
