Help with Enzo?(Stuck at 261mph/route x no draft)

Well I've been hearing that the Enzo Is capable of around 270mph!

Problem Is my enzo is stuck At 261 :ouch:

I've tried messing with the transmission But I'm not too knowledgeable on this cars powerband anyway~

I've also tried raising the front an lowering the rear,max front dampers min rear and vice-versa But NOTHING seems to have any effect whatsoever. on the outcome V

I get to the top of the hill, start going down,
It gets to 265 at about 9k rpm then drops to 262 quickly and once I make it to the back straight it only gets up-to 261..

Can anyone help?

262mph is the best I've managed with it on the flat over the 10km speedtest. Might be worth asking those who are claiming those higher speeds to provide you with some details directly or call BS on them. I personally doubt it's got anything more in it than we are currently getting, the SL600 is the only "regular" car that runs over 270mph in my garage on flat ground without drafting.
 
Have you tried a wing? (I don't know if it works with an enzo, cause I've never tuned it for topspeed.)
 
I do believe them because I was cruising in my enzo doing 261 and they passed me pretty easy~ (Free run mode no draft) So Im sure its possible,But I cant figure out the missing piece :(

So yea does anyone have an enzo setup that runs better then 261 they'd like to share :D


It had a wing on it last night but I took it off,Tried maxing the down-force and minimizing it seemed to make Me lose 1mph when I had it on either way.

One of the top speed tricks is to make the suspension as soft as possible, raise the front all the way then add full ballast to the front of the car with maxed rear wing angle. Stability can be compromised using this method but it can gain some silly speeds with some cars. I'll have a quick messaround with mine and see what I come up with, I rarely use the Enzo for top speed runs, generally use the SL600 for that online for well over 300mph drafting races.

EDIT: None of the usual tricks with ballast work with the Enzo, from my testing anyway. Also remove the wing, if you have fitted it, as it also seems to run faster without it. I'm all out at 262.8mph on the flat, 267 something over the hill.

During the update they made the enzo's a bit slower, i dont know the exact #'s for the new ones(ps3 has a cooked disk drive, cant play gt5) the old ones got up to 922 horse, i have an old one and a new one, when i still could play gt5, my old enzo would hit 250 on the backstraight of daytona, my new one only hits 235 with the same exact tuen. I had to rework the trans and only got 240 on the back straight...
