Help with File transferring

So i'm trying to transfer files from a computer using windows 7 to a computer using Windows Vista and i'm using Windows Easy Transfer. But i'm getting alot of problems. It claims it cannot connect to the network but it's connected and i can access files on both ends. Is it not possible to transfer files from a higher version of windows to a lower?

I Don't see why it wouldn't be possible. If you still can't make it work you could consider dropbox

The Transfer tools will be different versions. You need to download a newer one for the vista machine.

Yeah I've downloaded a new version on the Vista machine and it only giving me an option to transfer files FROM the vista Machine, I want to transfer files FROM the windows 7 computer TO the Vista machine.

Yeah you can't go wrong with Dropbox, especially since it'll use your LAN connection if it can.
