Hey Everyone This Is My First Thread And I Hope It's Not Bad, anyways I've been having alot of trouble with the last seasonal even I don't know why, everyone says it's easy and all that but I can't even get close to the Ford GT it's always in the lead like 19 seconds I usually finish third I don't know why I can't win though Im using a R35 GT-R SpecV with a full aero body kit, 6 speed close ratio transmission, full body weight reduction with carbon fibre hood and window weight reduction, a racing air filter, twin clutch, semi-racing flywheel. Anyone able to give me any tips or something i could do to win I'm not a bad driver I use a G25 and I've set plenty of records on GT5P.

You must drive without any mistake, and set the top speed to 270KMH(I dont know whats this in miles), i had the camber of -2/-2.

I used the Nissan GTR Vspec 09, which is available in the premium dealership, it can shed a lot of weight and still make the conditions. Buy the racing transmission, set it to around 170 mph as a max speed. Also but all available parts, including aero, flywheels etc. You should if your quick catch the ford gt in the last tunnel.

I did not buy special transmission or aero kit but i used the same car. The most important part of the track are the s-turns before the last turn. AI seems to be fairly slow there and you can cut through the turns very fast. I won on my 3rd try with nice margin after i learned how far i can push the car in turns. Also one important part is that when you turn right and track slopes down before the tight hairpin.

There's already a BUNCH of threads on this, do a quick search. You have to drive aggressive as hell! On top of that be really smooth (no hitting walls), I averaged 1:28 laps and beat the ford on the last chicane before the straight away and finish line. Took me a couple hours. Oh I also did it with no aero mods, hate the way they look.

Must have been low 1:28's... I needed 1:27's. What I did was go flat out into the first corner and just smash into the wall, it's much faster.

Thanks for your help everyone i adjusted the gear ratios and changed the tyres and sure enough I won the race with a 4 second lead on the Ford GT :)

Just like to say, having tried 3 different cars and various setups posted on other threads, I did the above one with the youtube video and having not got below 1:30 previously did 4 of the 5 laps sub 1:28.

I may have missed it but it doesn't specify the car I'm pretty sure it is the Nissan GT-R SpecV '09 setup as per the full description on the youtube video.

Genesisfury - Do you object to me posting the notes in here? I appreciate you may not have done it deliberately for the youtube clicks.

And just out of interest, how do you come to settle on this or any other setup? Is it mainly trial and error or just something you have got a feel for?

Many Thanks anayway.

Turn on skid recovery force. Decided to try an experiment... though it's an "aid," it's good for a second and a half a lap. With it turned on, you can basically brake way too late, throw the car into a turn and it will settle down and grip. I suspect a lot of the guys setting these fast lap times have this turned on.

It is in fact the Nissan GT-R SpecV '09 and no, I have no objections to you posting the notes.
