Help with Logitech G29 setupPC

Hi guys
Just installed AC in PC for first time and bought a new G29 with the shifter
My problem is I just can't get the wheel working/set up.
From the default profiles on the left, I tried both G29 profiles (with and without shifter) but hen the game starts, nothing happens in terms of having any control of my vehicle or getting it to move off the line.
I also tried manually setting up and also the wheel wizard thing but same thing.
There was a few times where accelerate would work (can gear engine rev when pedal pressed) but car doesn't move.
Been messing about for past 2-3 hours and couldn't get it to work.
Somebody please help. Any guides for first time setup if the G29?

I have a T300 and have also struggled at first.
Without saying you're having the same kind of problems I had, make sure you keep using the same usb port, for a start. Then if you use a shifter, there's a box to tick to enable using the shifter.
Have you also installed the drivers from Logitech before plugging in your wheel and starting the game?

I presume you have the wheel in PS4 mode so it will work on pc. Small switch on top
