Help with music

Ok so i want to listen to my own music while im racing and yes i went to settings and did all that. When im in the menus my music gets played but when i join a lobby it rarely plays my song instead that music the game comes with plays and not mine why?

Well i noticed this only happens online because when i race offline my music plays is there a way i can make my music play online ooh and my music has played online before but not anymore.

Online lobbies with voice chat enabled only allow the original game music to be played. If you look at the room selection in the open lobby menu, a bright white speech bubble indicates that voice chat is enabled while a dim black one indicates that it is not.
