Help with my ps3!!!!

Ahhhhhh! My ps3 is slow again. I reformatted the hard drive like 2 months ago because it was doing thr same thing.it worked up until now. I don't want to format it again because I don't want to start GT5 over.

So what can I do? And if I let it keep going slow will it eventually die?

Oh and I cleared cache and deleted cookies.

How big is your HDD? Can you save your other "game saves"to a memory stick then delete them. If you don't have too much on your HDD you can do a system backup onto a memory stick ten do a reformat then restore.

If you have too much on your HDD then you might have to buy an external HDD to do this. Is it your HDD causing the problem or what?

Get another HDD and copy everything en then format. Or doesn't that work like that?
