help with old speedster 3

hi all, someone gave me an old ps2-speedster 3 wheel and im trying to make it work with a pc-usb adaptor, the problem is that some buttons works, so it is conected,but i cant set it as controller 1 so the wheel itself doesnt works. so if someone can make it works please tell me what and how to do it, thanks.

Hi VARCONV, Have you tried powering up your PS3 with only the wheel attached and without using the controller? In this case the PS3 would probably automatically make your wheel controller one.
