I have a Verbatim Universal Reader and I have tried to get some GT4 pics up but when i try transferring the photo to it I get a message saying that the USB device is not plugged in. I also tried a small USB device that I put pics from my camera onto my computer with and i get the same message. Can Sombody help me cause i have some great drifting pics and great shots of my cars.

I'm not familiar with the universal reader thing you speak of. Perhaps someone else can help.

Simple.. Ditch the card reader you speak of, and go buy a Lexar 8Gb usb stick. Its already formatted correctly, and its fast. Plus its a U3 drive. =D What could be better?

GT4 doesn't respond to card readers. You need some sort of USB flash device. My dads work sent in a small USB mp3 player with job instructions. It's what I use. It's one of those that just costs $5. Try one of those.

EDIT: You can also use it for music. 👍

Thanks, I'll have to wait for the next time I go into Wal-Mart or some other store when I have money

yea i agree. my very very very old leaxar 128 mb usb drive works perfectly.when my 1 gb lg does not. lol so yea ur best bet is lexar

my SanDisk ones have worked fine forevar too. :D - its just my x360 that doesn't like it sometimes. lol

My USB drive is pink. :embarrassed: It was all they had at Radio Shack when i went to buy it. They had other colors that were more uh...professional (black, silver, etc) but they had more memory and cost like $30. So pink it was...

You dont neeed a Lexar 8 gb, too expensive..

Just grab a Kingston Datatraveler from Futureshop when it goes on sale. my 2Gb was only 14.99

Well I might not be going to the stores till next week but for now I could use a camera and take the pics.. won't be high quality though

Not too expensive. Mine was like 50$ at Frys. If you have a local store like Frys your best bet is to go there. Look in the weekly ads in your local paper theres usually stuff like that available at a nice price. I got lucky to find the 8Gb Lexar though. Already formatted to FAT32 and comes with some nice secure data programs. I use it alot. Its also a U3 which is very useful if your computer doesn't like to run fast or anything. Whatever you decide to get, make sure you can use it for things other than just Gt4.

well the bad part is I don't get the paper and the people who deliver flyers never bring them to my house.. I'll find one hopefully :) so then you can see my drifting shots. I'm still learning but I think I can drift decently, I can even link drifts!

Aha, thats what you want it for. :)
Have you introduced yourself over at the drifting sub-forum yet?
If not, go do that and read up on some guides, your skills will improve phenomenally. Although I'm sure you're great already, you can always get better.

If you mean the "new drifters introduce yourselves here" topic then yes. Actually I did twice cause I had a little break from GT4 for about 3 or more months and then I posted there saying I was back.
