I'm having a hard time with S1. I have tried TLD's M3 setup and didn't even get close to a 3rd place finish. It handles turns very well but just isn't fast enough. I also even tried the NSX R2, but still not even close to third it just doesn't go fast enough. What do you guys recommend?

I have had no luck on S! myself.

I have done better down tuning my 599 and f430 over all the cars I have up tuned. Even with less HP I can pass other cars. With the Honda NSX the AI cars just seem faster than me.

lol how could you get stuck on s1? Keep trying.

I've played the GT series for a very long time, so has someone else I know that is having a hard time with it right now. I am having a hard time with it with The DFP wheel all aids off pro physics and like I said I did it with the Corvette, M3, and the NSX, what did you do it with? Give me some more advice specifically what car to use what setup (tuning wise), instead of just keep trying.

The S-class events are very challenging on pro physics. The most practical suggestion would be to use standard physics, as it's fairly evident that the races were tuned with that in mind.

If you prefer to beat all challenges on pro physics, you'll be in for quite a challenge, and you'll likely be mostly on your own, since most players (even here) did S-class under standard physics.

Personally, after passing C-B-A with the same settings as you, and spending a bit of time on S class with standard physics, I switched to standard to blitz through them. I'm currently working on getting gold on all events, and then I'll go back and try them on pro physics.

This is your third thread on S1.

Since you are on Pro physics, use the Lotus 111R/Tuned and you should win (like I said in your other thread, it's your best chance). If you don't believe me, disable auto-save and try it. Look for setups in the Tuning Forum (try stiffening the rear with a touch more rear camber, drop the ride height and gear it).

BTW, if you get desperate, just bump one of your existing threads (no need to start a new one).
