Sup guys...

I am setting up to race the 24hr at Le Mans and am having trouble with the LMP cars... I have tried the 787B, Peugeot 908, Toyota GT One, among others... They all are very very wild on exiting slow corners. They spin out and become very twitchy...

I read Scaffs tuning guide and I tightened up the LSD and upped the rear downforce, which seemed to help. But not completely... Any advice on how to tune the tail happiness out of these cars?

Eh, you've got godlike power and next to no weight at all, what where you expecting?

I'd suggest increasing rear toe if you haven't done so already, and also, if it's coming out of slower corners that causes this, just short shift into 3rd if you drive MT and then only boot the power when the car is pointing in a straight line.

A longer gearbox (lower gear ratio numbers) should also help.

^ also, if your a completionist and dont mind using aids, theres no harm in using traction control. I know your pain though because my Minolta is the same way and I have even reduced the power to like 400hp or 650pp and it still does it.

That's also an option, I just didn't include it because adding TC isn't really tuning, and this is the tuning forum. A bit OCD and picky, I know. I suppose if we used some drag racing methods, raising the rear ride height might help…though quite why I've not grasped.

It's also worth remembering the simple stuff, like tyre wear is on, so it's going to let go at some point during the race, which might explain the issue if this is being experienced from say…the 2nd lap onward. But that could also just be stating-the-obvious rambling.

I'll try this guys...Thanks!!!

I don't mind using aids, but I'd prefer not to unless it's a last resort...

Will see what I can come up with next week when I play again... :)
