Help with understanding

Hey all, I am a newbie tuner and been having moderate success.
I am wondering if I could get some help with an understanding on:
-Gear ratios and final gear
-LSD(Can't figure this out at all)

Also read through Praiano's garage. He has a slightly different way to set the gearbox and he is usually just a tick faster than me.

Basic info on gears: higher number means lower top speed, but you get there faster, and lower numbers mean higher top speed but you get there slower. You've just got to find a balance. That's where the final gear comes in. It works the same as the transmission gears, but if affects all of them.

How can I make my wheels not spin while changing gears? Is it because my gears are too short not long enough on front 1-3?

It's because you havr too much power for the tyres, only way would be to widen the gears, maybe try softer suspension and higher ride height.

Yea I normally grab all power upgrades immediately, would It be wise to limit a car to only one of either:
A. Engine 3 or
B.Supercharger/Turbo?
