Help with ZTE phone

Hello. Recently someone I know (my brother) encrypted their phone through the settings in the phone. Everything seemed normal until he reset his phone. When he first turned it on it asked for the pin code, and after it was entered, it played the little jingle and now it has stayed at this screen for over 12 hours. What do you all recommend? The phone model is a ZTE Z818L from straighttalk and is on some 5.0 version of android.

We tired once but we can try again.

UPDATE: I called ZTE USA and they said call straight talk. . .

UPDATE #2: Called straight talk, they said do a factory reset, and now the phone works again. Moral to the story, use caution when encrypting your phone.
