Alright so here is my problem. My brother sabotaged my GT5 profile and sent my Puegeot 908HDi to one of his friends that lives about 15 miles from my house. The friend rented GT5 and therefore doesnt have the game anymore. The 1.07 patch is about to take effect tommorow I belive. What do I do?

Is it possible to import his cars on a USB stick and transfer them to my GT5 save data?

Can I do the save data thing? Can I import his save data and put it on mine? Or will I just have to go over there and send it to myself via my game his PS3?
 
I guess you could bring your copy of GT5 over to the persons house, and send the car back. Otherwise, wait for new seasonal events and buy another 908.

I think you could probably copy his save data and create his PSN account on your PS3 and then send it from your PS3 to your PS3... but you'd still have to go to his house, so you may as well just bring your GT5 disc and send the car from there.

no ya cant use his save file, the only way i see it is to go to his friends with your GT5, start it, send the car and then knock your brother out haha

Get the Save data off his ps3 or get him to email you the files, ask him for his user name and password sign into his account and gift you car back to you then delete his save data or mess up his psn for revenge :P
 
If you log in with his PSN ID, you CAN use his save data. That is the ONLY situation where you can use another person's save.

If you can get him to give you his PSN login you can, you just create a new user on your PS3, link it to his PSN then you can use his save. You can't just load his save on your account as they're locked to the PSN ID.

Edit: Beaten to it... Typing with one hand is slow, but being on the phone to BT's support people is too boring for me to not be on GTP!

This. You'll have to get his username and password and all that. He'd also need to email you his save file, otherwise you're better off going over there with GT5.


I don't think I'd want to give someone else my password.
