Help!!

Can somebody help me?
I have GTA San Andreas for PC, I found car mods at a GTA website.
The Problem is when I follow the instructions to put the cars on the game. Everything works fine untill I start a new game or load up an old one, it freezes half way through the load. What is your advice?

What mods are they and how did you apply them?

They are Car mods. When I download the zip file there is a set of instructions that tell me what folders to modify. I sort of checked to see what file made the game freeze up, and it is the gta3 file. I load up the file with IMGtoo like the instructions said, and replaced the .dff and .txd file of that specified car mod with the ones in the zip folder. I got the files from gtainside.com, one of the sites where I can find mods like that. It was in the user guide that came with the game.

If you could tell me where did you find these mods(i can't find them anywhere), I 'll try it.

I tried to mod san andreas but ended up breaking the game....had to reinstall.

Baisically what happened to me. As I said before, be carefull. I'am not completely saying the mods don't work. There are a few times where i have sen the mod work. Fell free to yell, kick and scream all you want at me, I apologize for the mess up.
