Car: PT Cruiser (I don't like that car either, but it will make for a good challenge!

Modifications: Anything goes!

Track: Laguna Seca

Due Date: Monday, August 20

Just PM your fastest lap to me.
 
I think this challenge will seperate the men from the boys.

This is all about how you fine-tune your car, and how well you drive, naturally!

Ok guys, so far we have 4, count em 4 times submitted.

I'm not going to tell you how close it is, but if you've already submitted a time, feel free to send me an improved one.

I like a good challenge with a low-powered car. I can't make any guarantees, but you'll be getting a times from me as soon as I get a chance. :)
 
I did it and sent in the time. We will soon see who can drive a PT Cruiser.:) :weird:
 
Is it just me or do the people that post challenges always win them? I dont want to sound like I'm calling you a liar, but do you have any proof of a faster time than mine? I have a picture of mine.

That's why the person who creates the challenge shouldn't be able to compete in it...
 
Sorry, I dont have any way to give proof.

Brian, your time is fast, but I am sub 1:30. ghostrider is also under your time as of now.

You guys have until tonight to PM improvements to me.

I did save my replay, so if someday I get a scanner, I will give proof.

We are just going to have to tell the truth. Besides, how cool is it to type in a bogus time to win? I want to see how good I really am, so that's why I tell the truth. :cool:

Its not cool, and I'm not claiming that I have the fastest time possible, it just seems that SOME PEOPLE want to make themselves feel better by telling everybody else that their times are faster. Furthermore, because you are the only one that knows the times, you should either not compete, or publish the times for everybody to see, so we know how much time we need to shave off to win.
 
To see the Posted Results of this challenge, go to the new thread I started. By the way, take a look at how close the battle for 3rd place was, it doesn't get much tighter than that.
