i got this cockpit
gtrevolution.com

and will be adding this on the back of it.
http://www.avsim.com/pages/0604/aura/aura_interactor.htm

my goal is to bring me more into the game w/o spend major bucks, hopefully it will give me a feel of the engine.

the Aura Interactor is ideal cause its fits like a back pack (which is why it never sold too well) but on my seat i have those 2 holes for a seatbelt. They look to be perfect to hold up the interactor.

ill post updates when i get the aura interactor (won it off ebay for 9bux)

what do you guys think?

People have been doing this for cheap bass shakers in their home theaters with great success, I don't see why it wouldn't work for this application.

I wouldn't install them in the steering belt holes though. In order for bass shakers to work properly they need to be installed in something rigid, so I would find a place in the base of your cockpit to install them on. You may even have better luck attaching them to a piece of wood then attaching it to the base of your cockpit.

I have been using bass shakers in my personal home theater for a couple years now, I love them.

Sorry for totally OT wrong thread , but I have pretty n00bish and quick question.

Does DFP fits with PC? Could I play LFS or RBR for ex.?

Again , sorry :scared:

OK i got it setup ill take pics next week (its at my dads house where there is a 78inch projector HD TV w/ 9.1 surround sound). So far the bass shaking is a little weaker than I imagined. I had the RCA wire that goes into the sub spliced to go into aura interactor.

To my suprise there is little to no bass from the car, the only major source for bass is wind noise.
I think I might have to hack some of the plastic off so that it does not make that cheap plastic sound. Or i might hack it up to put it under my seat.

Since there is no wood on my cockpit placing it on a solid substance may be hard.

Hi,
I have used the same interactor unit with some success but you do have to pull it apart and solidly mount the rumble unit for it to work properly.
I have posted some pics of my rig and seat setup so you can see how I went about things.....comments and ideas welcome.
Cheers,
Dave.

I had the same problem: weak and continuous vibrations.

Solution: don't take the signal from the bass output of the sound system, better take the direct output of the Playstation.

For example here is my setup:

As far as I know, the Aura system is designed to be plugged directly on an audio output (like jack or RCA), without any ampli or frequency filter, all of this is integrated.
