i was referred here by a guy named viperbeatsvette, and would really appreciate any tips or tricks into making myself faster on the 1/4 mile.

he taught me the basics, such as high back, low front and some vague tips on springs and toe.

i have read master_shake's guide on transmission, but still dont fully understand 'flipping'

any explanation would be greatly appreciated, and hopefully ill get fast enough and race some of you in the future :)
 
yeah im new to drag racing, i started playing gt5 a few days ago, level 18 with like 20 cars.. he gave me an lp670 :) (favourite car) i have an enzo too with 894 hp and its really good at topgear. i only found this site because i was told after asking how to get good

The best part of a trip is the way to destination my friend
Start tuning some cars at first
Then try to compare your times with other
Start twicking your suspension,trans and see whats happening
Thats the best way of learning how to be competitive
If you need any help with a specific car i'll gladly help:tup:

In my region Enzo has 935 but in your has 900+ but
i don't know exactly my friend...
It's not a bad thing someone to give you something
as long as you try your best to improve your skills!!!
Thats what everybody is aiming for,to be faster.
Have in mind that and everything will be fantastic
 
Welcome to GTP. After you break in a car, you can start tuning. Dr_slumps guide covers all major topics so I suggest giving it a good read.

to get full hp you only need to break in cars you buy from the premium dealership and cars you win... cars you get from the online dealership are zero mile cars and get full hp once you oil change and do all the add ons... used dealership i suggest to buy cars under 10k km this way once you oil change and add on you have full hp... now with cars you buy from premium and cars you win, first oil change before you add miles to it... and i go to bspec and run the indy 500 endurance for 80 laps (200 miles) takes about a hour and 20 mins for medium and high power cars then oil change after your done... full hp... and just a tip with tuning dont change alot at once do one at a time...

Okay murcie in these forums if you look hard enough many guides have been written. The best ones are dr_slump's and master_shakes guides. I have a guide too if they're hard to understand. Good luck mate.
