i cant believe it i actually managed to do the rubber band trik with the escudo - cool!

i always thought it was a load of bull but i guess it isnt

shouldve turned the rumble off though - the blu tac i used lost its strength every now and then - i used the old dual shock(PSone) and blu tacked the X down - next time ill use the stick

im gonna do this trick, like, 24/7 and get a few poly 001's

and probably about 22 clios...

He's talking about the rubber band trick using the Suzuki Escudo , right ? You tie a rubber band around the two analog sticks lightly , and then you leave it for one of the races ( can't remember which ) the car will ride on the outside walls ( again , I'm not sure ) . You'll end the race with a heap of cash .

Not sure .

Yeah, you do this at Super Speedway Enduro, where the prize cars are Polyphony001, Corvette C5r, Clio Race Car and Tickford Falcon

is this possible with an F1 aswell? cuz i have an F090/S but no escudo...heh...dont want one ;)

cool..i never knew u can tie a rubber band on the two analog thing and just let the car won...the pretty cool..need to try it.

It's possible on any car that's fast enough to win even though it's running round scraping the outside wall the whole time.

People talk about the "riding the wall" trick in the pikes peak, but I can't do it. Here is why:

Right before the straight-a-ways are 2 bumps in the walls that will throw you into the pit on one side of the track, and on the other side, into the opposing wall where you will bounce off and spin 360's finally coming to a stop. Maybe I am doing something wrong, but those bumps in the wall before the staight-a-ways will throw you off the wall.

Here's how it works:

1) set the trans to "auto"
2) set the right analog stick to be left gas, right brake
3) set the left analog stick to be steering
4) lightly rubber band the two sticks together.

This holds full throttle and full right lock on the steering, so the car rides the wall. After any bumps it may hit, the full right steer will immediately make it smack back into the wall.

i find that if the steering is too far to the right ill just end up pitting and then going backwards

so i'd use a seperate rubber band for each stick, and have the left stick steer only about half way left

yeah, easy money... even if it does take 15 minutes longer than if you had actually sat it

err... disregard that last post

i dont know what the hell i went on about
