Like you wouldn't believe.:( I loved that car. It definitely wasn't the fastest accelerating car I owned, but it sure was the most fun.

That GPW S2k rolling on those MF-10's looks perfect. I'd love to have that car. Or even the one with the powder coated OEM wheels.

Thanks for the link, Loud.:) Mine had red interior, BTW.

Ah red, guess so. There is another thread where a couple guys bought `04s and swapped the tan interior of the white one with the black interior of the red one. So they have a white S2000 with solid black interior and a red S2000 with tan interior. Both look better than they did previously. I wish Honda of America would offer more color choices over here. We get some lame arangements, not to mention the lack of a proper dark blue. What I want more than anything is dark blue with tan interior, and second would black with tan.

Oh well.

Bleh, white... everyone knows Berlina black is where it's at! :)

Yeah, I saw the offline notice today too. Everyone always screws me over with poor timing.

Berlina Black or death!

With tan interior, it would be like driving your own piece of Heaven ... at a high rate of speed (:

Agreed. Best convertible between the Miata and the Boxter (In terms of price).

The Miata is no competetion. It's not even in the same class. The Boxster S, 350Z Roadster, and Z4 3.0 are the care commonly used in performance comparisons. However, each of them is significantly more expensive. The S2000 out performs each, but has notably fewer luxuries.

My favorite color for the S2000 would have to be the Rio Pearl Yellow or the New Formula Red which only come in Black Leather. I really perfer the Red&Black Leather, I think it looks way better, but the sad part is that it only comes in the Silverstone Metallic and Sebring Silver Metallic.

My dream color combination would have to be:

Rio Yellow with Red & Black Leather.
New Formula Red with Red & Black Leather.

Rio Yellow with Red & Black Leather.

Cool, the McDonalds mobile. :p

At the risk of repeating myself, again, Black is where it's at.

The Porsche Boxster S is really overpriced, and isn't worth the amount of money you are paying for it. Thats my opinion. There are a lot of better all around convertible for better price.

Anyways, S2000 are awesome cars, and they deserve all the fame that they get.

But I feel that they are underrated. Do you guys feel the same way?

Most of my friend bash on the car because of three big fact, that its a Honda, that the engine had very it low torque and its a 4 cylinder. But what can I say all are true. Although it has very low torque, it is an all around good performing car.

Its light weighing in around 2835lbs and with an almost 50/50 split weight distribution its great for handling. The real weight distribution amount is 49/51 I believe.

S2000 are great buy though.

Yeap; the S2000 gets media bashed. I have a feeling it's underarted. Dont forget it's excellent 6-speed.

Disagree :P j/k. Acceleration is a little disapointing, but the Boxster is still a good car. I see some used for $30,000, and even less.

For what a Boxter costs, I'd get a Mazdaspeed Mitata, through on an exhaust, bigger turbo, boost controller, and intercooler, along with a bit of stiffenning and a set of coilovers, and slaugher the Boxter.

I agree with you rollazn, the S2000 owns that segment pretty hardcore, although, I could never see myself buying that type of car when I can spend a bit more and get a G35 coupe that has 2 usable back seats. For some reason, that makes a world of difference.

I really love the Honda S2000 for some reason. But I know that I won't be getting it any time soon. Right now im on verge of getting my permit, and as soon as I have it, I will begin to drive. I have already talk to my dad about cars and he said that I can get any car under 20K, and if I want to buy something over it, I will have to spend my own money. The only restriction he has is NO TWO SEATER.

That is a downfall of the S2000. But most people who owns S2000, don't have a family or if they do, they have another car that could carry more than 2. I see the S2000 as more of a crusing car and/or something to come up in at a formal party.

The G35 on the other hand seems like a more luxury car. I can see older people owning the G35. For some reason I don't really like the look of the G35 Sedan, the Coupe looks alright.

But I think the best buy for that price would have to be Subaru Impreza STi and/or Mitsubishi Evolution. They have great performance and has the ablity to seat 4.

What would happen if I said im not really into black S2000's? ;)

Rio Yellow > Black. :)

The S2000 is amazing. Simply put.

About color combinations: They've changed the options over the past five years. One year, can't remember which, they offered red with red / black interior. It looked pretty good. There were also gray and silver cars with all red interior. A couple guys did color swaps with friends to make an S2000 with red exterior and all red interior. I'll see if I can find a picture. Looks like a blob of ketchup driving down the road.

I'd still like to have just about any color with a tan interior. Preferably dark blue or black. I have pictures of those too (: There are more color options for the rest of the world than there are in the US. Even Canada has a few more options than us.

How about Japan with their Lime Green S2000's. I used to have the picture but I reformated my PC, but you can find it at the Japanese Honda Site.

Actually, I do like it. With black interior it could look pretty fine. I'd get all the OEM options too. Load the bad boy up.
