How about fixing the paint menu so that

A: When you try to order them by hue, name, number, etc. they actually get in order.

B: They don't duplicate one another so that you have, for instance, 3 Super Red in one place, then when you scroll down farther you find one more, then one more even farther down.

Please fix the things that are broken before you screw anything else up...
 
yeah, this has been weird for a while. Should be very easy to fix.
 
Yeah it is weird that there are random colors above all the colors when you select hue.
 
No, first, how about fixing the game in general, removing the 20 mil cash limit, bump up the cash prizes again, etc.

The paint menu is your concern now? Sounds to me like some one is just trying to find every possible thing to complain about. Why didn't you just add this complaint to your other thread? Did we really need another?

I agree. I'd be nice to buy paints as well.
 
Also when applying paint to a car a preview on the actual car itself would be better than some model next to it. Thought that would be common sense but obviously not.

Like what? What responses exactly are you expecting? People just agreeing with you that the paint system is flawed? I noticed that about duplicates of the same hues. Can't say I ran to my PC to raise a thread about it though, I just made a mental note and carried on.

Is that response/reply OK?

How about merging every complaint thread into one massive raincloud post....mudflaps, shadows, paint, engine noise, car prices, race laps, XP, Credits, seasonal events, duping, X1/X2010, B2 glitch, missing tracks, not enough tracks, only 200 premium cars, tires dont grip, Bspec bob, grinding, Porsche, DLC, online bahavior, loading times, track editor, update 1.07....etc.

I think PD should continue to put out work in the form of updates that reminds us players that they have heard the complaints and are working on them steadily, and ignore the absolute minor issues. Sure the paint menu is kind of odd, when I got to paint a car I arrange them by hue and narrow down what particular shade I want. So what if there's a purple or blue chip sorted into my selection of black chips. If it werent for that happening, I wouldnt have stumbled upon some interesting colors. Just saying.

A list of what is being worked on and their priorities on the web site would be lovely...
 
I think you'll find that there are many paints with the same name, that aren't the same.
 
I also agree. The paint system in general needs to be fixed.

This is true also. As well as Matt Black, I also have two types of MattE Black, both of which look different in the preview panel.

Erm not that it's any better, can't say it worries me unduly though.
 
I think the reason some paints have the same name but different slots is due to it being for certain models - I think Super Red for a Toyota Soarer will be categorized differently from Super Red for a Toyota Yaris, for example...

That's the only possible explanation i could put to it, but I would appreciate just having all my Super Reds lumped together in the first place for sure. And, if they are for different models, why aren't we notified which paints belong to which model of car?
 
This game should of not been released with all the faults, Its our fault for demanding it. PD needs to stop listening to the forum and use their own heads, not the 12 year olds complaining on this forum.

If we're wanting them to fix the paint system, they could try making it work more like painting an actual car. If I want to have my real-world car painted a different color, I don't need to bring in a paint chip to do it. I decide what color I want it and it gets painted that color. The paint chip system might be interesting for three people, but for normal people it's just a tedious, unnecessary chore and a poor, impractical, and unrealistic design choice.
 
Something else to fix. Don't use up the paint chips when they're used, seriously, that would be nice.
 
Seeing as I don't dupe I often find I am spending vast amounts of credits on a car just because I want the paint chip for another car... crazy I know!

Why did PD not make paints available to buy? They could have kept the rarer ones out of the catalogue and offer them as they do now, with prize tickets etc...
