Hey guys,

I used to post here every day. But demands of uni and now work mean that it's not possible. However I'm still around, though not sure for how much longer on gtplanet. For anyone who wondered what happened to me and things in my life I thought I'd give everyone an update.

I finished Uni, so now have a masters degree in computing, and i work in central london as a financial analyst. though that doesn't mean i have loads of cash. it mainly means i dont have any time and am too tired at the weekend to check gtplanet or play gran turismo :grumpy: .

I sold my Nissan 200 sx. My POS vauxhall astra with the leaking fuel tank etc was 'given' away and I was carless for some time. I now have a vauxhall cavalier which is brown/maroon in colour, about 15 years old, and has a 1.7 turbo diesel. i love it though for being a diesel. and for getting me home without fail every time :)

Thinking of getting a golf, or a smart or something similar if time necessitates. though no concrete plans at the mo. how could i go from a 200sx to a smart? well i dont have the time to take my car for servicing if anything gets broken so i need something that wont give me much hassle, and i can't afford anything too good AND new. oh and i only get to drive a car about once a month too lol

I bought GT4, did the time trials but couldn't bring myself to go through the motions of working my way up from crap cars to awesome cars a fourth time so the only thing I do is (on the rare occasions when i find the time to play gt) load up the ring and do laps of it with my RUF GT. (Occasionally switching to an NSX if I feel like refreshing my MR skills lol).

it was my 25th birthday a few days ago which means that now i can rent certain cars. thinking of blowing a fair bit of cash and hiring out a 996 turbo one weekend. obviously pics and videos will be supplied to the net, and you guys will be informed.

i was out in italy skiing 2 weeks ago and ran into something called a winter marathon. loads of classic cars (mainly porsches) descended on an italian village called madonna di campiglio where i was. pictures and videos are on their way to the net too.

other than that, just wanted to say i may not post here for a while. just really wanted to say hi, hope you are all well and wish you all the best with whatever your goals are. do your best at school, and at work, be a good friend and good member of your family but don't ever let your passion for cars, for racing and for speed dwindle.

Drive safe,

P.S. Having hit the "preview post" button I can see that all sorts of undesirable changes have taken place here. not least the advert/keywords popping up inside people's posts. Maybe now would be a good time to 'retire'. Or just find a new forum... Hmmm! :dunce:

Urm I dont remember you, I probably wasnt a member when you were active. Where abouts in west London are you from?

Sorry, can't say that I ever heard of you.

Welcome back, I remember you.

Nice to have you here again.
Premium has happened since you were last here, and Famine's a mod.

You can disable that in your My GTPlanet page, if you click on Edit options, then tick the box right at the bottom which for disabling green text links, that should remove the links in the middle of peoples posts.

haha lol

thanks :)
