Cool videos! Great entry technique! Welcome to the forum, we can always use more drifters. XD

I was quite surprised when I found this forum too, as before that I thought I was the only one who took GT3 drifting seriously. Then I came here and was humbled by Cudaman's video and decided to get involved.

I didnt even know drifting until i came here. I basically learned everything from this site. Thank gawd i found this site. BTW, i think u have great control.

thanks guys, yeah, i'm the only one i know who drifts on gt3, but i've alwase wanted to do twin drifting (1 player mode) but nobody i know can hold the drift. i think the twin drifts (D1 style) look so crazy i wanted to make a replay like that. yes, divine_monk, i'm talking about your vid, that's crazy badass!

just curious, anyone here try applying the same drift techniques from real life drifting to the game? anyone here drift in real life at all?

Not only do I drift in real life and GT3 but I began learning both at about the same time and pace. I drive a mostly-stock 86 in real life and mostly-modded 180SX or FC3S in the game, and I must say that they are at far extremes of the spectrum. Being able to apply my real-life techniques that I'm learning to a highly tuned car that I can't afford in real-life has been a great benefit and my drifting has already surpassed all the local drifters.

See my drift guide to see how I applied real-life techniques to GT3:

Used to in my S14 before a blazer decided to become one with it. I was going to set up my newest project, my S13, for drifting, but I grew out of it. That doesnt stop everyone from asking me if I drift, just because I have a SR20DET.

Welcome to the forums =)

86? You drive an 88 Brother =P The SR5 has a chassis code of AE86, you have a GT-S =)

Yes its VIN code begins with AE88 but both the SR5 and GT-S were AE86's in the States. There are some differences in the U.S. SR5 chassis but it was based on the GT-S platform so they still called it an AE86. However, it does make for easy SR5->GTS conversions. I have a few friends who have done that and it works very nicely.
