Hi there guys, I'm Pierre.

Finally I've found a forum with lots of people who likes GT as well.

I'm 23 yh, I'm from Italy, I drive a 350Z Lev2, a Celica T20 and a Suzuki GSX-R 600 al*stare replica.

Looking forward to meet you all!

Welcome to GT Planet... 👍

Can you compare driving 350Z in real life and in GT4... ?? Is the driving model in game comparable with the real one??

Welcome to GTPlanet! Thanks for introducing yourself.

Someone will probably come on and tell you to follow the rules, use the search function, and beware of Famine. So I'll beat them to the punch, because the Famine joke is getting old. I'll also move this to the appropraite forum.

Enjoy your stay with us!

the Famine joke is getting old

Just like the person, in that respect.

*creaks*

Besides, I only eat six or seven newbies a year, and I usually leave the bones.

So, thanks to Fizio, Famine and Duke for answering me :)

Answering Fizio: Yeah, it's kinda the same thing...but I still prefer to drive the real one, and take it to the track ;)

Talking about comparisons Fizio, the real one and the GT4 one act kinda the same way: Same good, direct steering, same decent horsepower, good grip. One thing in wich the GT4 is better is braking: the real one, after a full-down 5 laps, gets its Brembo completely down.

How many have you eaten this year since it's almost october..
Maybe if you did you quote for this year new guys can relax a bit... :) :) :)

Welcome to GTPlanet The_Spike_350Z,

Have a great stay, and remember to read the AUP

Again, Have a great time.

From,
Wall :D

because the Famine joke is getting old.
Riiiight. You ever get your eyes checked? Because last time I heard, the Famine joke is only a year old (or so). ;)

But anyway, welcome to GTP.

...And watch out for Famine.

Hey, the "Im in ur ____ ____ ur ____!" thing got old in about a week, so a year is plenty of run for the Famine joke.

Anyway, to Pierre, we're always glad to have more members with real-life high performance and track driving experience. Again, welcome to GTPlanet!

Welcome to GTP :)

What do you mean by '350Z Lev2' does that mean Level 2? Is that a factory upgrade to your Z or a racing package I'm not aware of?

Ciao!

Well, Kenny, in Italy, there are two versions of the 350Z, and they're called the Level 1 and the Level 2. The difference is that the Level 2 equipped car has orange leather wheel, orange leather seaters, orange leather e-brake, orange leather gear knob (orange interiors, to cut it short), electrical seats (with memory) plus Forged 18 inches RAYS ENGINEERING Wheels ;)

PS: I almost forgot: Thanks to Kenny and El Gigante ;)

Welcome to GT Planet, good to have you here and I hope we are able to meet all your GT needs (because if we can't I don't know who will).

Quite agree while GT4 has got stopping distances down well (with N2 and N3 tyres), lock-up is almost non existent and brake fade is totally absent.

👍

<<< Is one of the lucky ones to not get eaten by Famine..... lol

Welcome to the infamous GTP I hope you enjoy your spell here... and remember participate, participate, participate

Wow, certainly some orange to go around, huh?

Hope those 18" Rays can handle it when you peel out.

Get used to puns... we use a lot of them!

Sounds like a sweet car :)

You're right. Stopping distances are correct, but the lack of lock-up and fading sometime makes me wonder for GT5...I think It'll be a nice addition. Always getting near and near to the REAL Driving Simulator statement.

Welcome to GTP The_Spike_350Z, have good time here, the site if full of great information and theres some great people to discuss and deabte things with 👍.

Just like the person, in that respect.

So thoes strange noises we've been hearing all morning wasn't a fault line moving.

You ahve to remember there's only so much the PS2 could actually handle, you know xx ammount of calculations per second that sort of thing, as technology progresses computers can handle more and more so as long as PD aim for more realism, more realism will be achievable on the PS3.

Err...which means? I'm from Italy, sorry :(

Same as before :(

Well, it's cool because I have this bright interiors that melt very well with the exterior of the car (my Z is "Super-Black", as Nissan calls it).

It IS a sweet car. I mean, it's a great Porsche-Wannabe...the only thing is, it ain't that "trackday destroyer" I figured out before buying her...and the brakes...ARGH.

Orange and peel, it was a bad bad joke. Just wave your head in disbelief and walk away ;). A Pun is a typ of joke dictionary.com defines it as ...
an amusing use of a word or phrase which has several meanings or which sounds like another word.

Ah... the pun is that you peel oranges to eat them. Peeling out is doing a burnout, like when you keep the car stationary but rev it up and smoke builds around the car. So hopefully that explains it for you.

Black with orange highlights...

That IM IN UR thing was created by some pimple faced kid, and so was the Famine joke, but the difference is that Famine is immortal.

:dopey:

Yup I know, (I'm a game reviewer as well...and for information's sake I also reviewed our beloved GT4 ;)) but as seen on Forza Motorsport it wasn't a darn-difficult thing to implement...I mean, at least lock-up...

Ok, finally I got it ;)

I thought I knew English, but confrontation with you "real-people" is sometimes kinda hard :D

Black & Orange is a nice melt. If you wanna see it, I can send a picture (I'm not able to post it directly there)

Welcome to GTP. This is a great place with lots of good people and fun things to do, so enjoy. You seem more involved in GT than I, so I might not see you that often-I usually spend my time in the Rumble Strip and Automotive sections. I'll see you around though. Have fun!

And I refuse to let go of the Famine joke, personal experience proving it true, but I digress. Watch out for Duke.

Oi there Keef. Well, I love GT and all, but sometimes I never refuse a good-old off-topic discussion. Might see each other more often than what you think ;)

Anyway, I wanna say "thank you" to anyone who answered this post. I've tried to keep track of everyone, but between orange interiors, oranges, peels, nissan and whatever else we talked about, I might have missed someone. Sorry guys, and thanks again.

When you hit reply... look at the buttons under 'Additional Options'. You will see 'Browse' and 'host it!' with reference to ImageShack. Click on browse to upload the picture, and then when ImageShack uploads it, copy/paste the 'direct link to image' into the 'Insert Image' button which is above the message box (where you type out your reply).

welcome, i hope you'll enjoy your stay here (you will i'm pretty sure) and don't hesitate to ask if you couldn't find something with the Search-function!
