I don't know how fast fast food is over there, but if it's as fast as I think it is fast, you could run out fast and get fast food fast -- so you'd be able to eat fast food fast and eat lunch, too. At a normal pace.

It's fast. As long as you don't go through the drive-thru. The drive-thru is slow but when you go inside there is no line, ever. I come out and maybe one car has left. Stupid lazy people. But I'm glad for them or I'd be waiting with them.

Speedy.

Kwiky.

Expedient.

German.

Hey milefile, how are things going with the little one?

Very well. Thanks for asking. We took him to the doctor yesterday and he is now 11 lbs 4 oz, 23 inches long and doing great. It's amazing how fast they grow. Almost a pound and a half in two weeks. And he was so good. He didn't cry once the entire outing, except for the shot, and even then he only cried a little.

He's taken on a schedule that definitely needs some adjusting. About a half hour after I get home from work (5:30) he's konked out, and pretty much stays that way, only waking up to eat, untill the wee hours. My wife gets to deal with the bulk of the crying and diapers. I wish I could help out more. Going to work is definitely easier than staying home, and more boring and much less fun.

Everything about him is so amazing. The way he can notice things in his periphery now, and they way he is learning to use his voice. And the increased eye contact and smiles just melt your heart.

Not too long ago it was just my wife and I. Now we're a family. Awesome. Life is good.
