hi, im a grand turismo fans for years and i used to play the game more then i do anything else. but u know everything comes to an end. well for me is because no one that i know can beat me in the game, so thats y i stop and try different things. but anyways.
the reason y i post this is because. i know you guys are good at driftng and thats something i want to master, and be able to give some one a challenge later on. so if anyone could please tell me or teach me in steps by steps of what i need to do in order to drift. like what kind of setting, what kind of drift style and, and when or how do i start the drift and where should i start it. thank you. :D

there are lots of new people who should read this also, since there are so many threads about how to start drifting. well, mindless-dude posted one of the ways to start. another way is to watch some of the videos and look around for drift settings on different cars, like the RX-7 or Supra. one major factor: PRACTICE! that's the difficult part because if one person tries to drift and doesn't succeed, then they'll quit. yu gotta keep yur enthusiasm up and keep on practicing to master drifting. it's hard to learn drift because everyone develops their own style. practice makes perfect :)
 
hi everyone and thank you all for trying to help me. i just wanted all to know that i wont giveup intil i get it rite. so don't worry i will pratice and keep at it and soon i'll be joining those in contest so thank you, now i just wanted to know where can i get some of those video clips at? :eek: :D

LOL, I've been waiting a few months to have my video added there. I e-mailed them but I don't think they are getting through since there is no reply what so ever. When you tell them to update yours into the drifting video section can youtell them to do mine too? that's "Opposite lock". I don't care about the other one that I uploaded "dragondriftgt", my cousin made that one and didn't put any time into making nice drifts, although he can if he tries.

I'm looking forward to seeing your vid, I hope it will be ready soon.
 
yeah in the video section there is an e-mail address, I just e-mailed and asked, More than once since some went through and others didn't. He gave me the instructions, i ended up having to upload it to an ftp sit first cus the direct upload didnt work.
